Solid-Wood-Wall® Production Line
For the production of the Solid-Wood-Wall® System
The Solid-Wood-Wall® Production Line exists of our groove and rebate milling cutter, "Wallmaster" and
panel cutting machine and has a space requirement of approximately 40m x 10m.
The insulation quality of the Solid-Wood-Wall® improves about 30 %
in comparison with a normal wood-wall due to the generated air layer. The new wall is thick boards of
various widths up to 345 mm, consisting of 24 mm dried wooden panels. The slabs are nailed together
layer by layer using threaded aluminum nails specially developed for the purpose, so an air layer is
generated in between.
The production line becomes profitable by producing as few as 10 homes per year,
because almost the entire production keeps in-house due to the 3-phase manufacturing process. It can
be operated by a single machine operator and can produce up to 18,000 m² of wall elements per year in
single-shift working.
